On April 15, I set out to join my good friend from Kansas City in Dallas, Texas where we would embark on a 5 day trip to Grand Prairie, Galveston, Orange and San Antonio, and whatever else looked fun along the way. I got picked up in a car that smelled like cow (because the Garmin had directed my friend near some cattle feed lots; it was like being back in Michigan) and we set out on our way to the first stop - Grand Prairie. The Texas bluebonnets were in bloom everywhere.
