Renowned artists with disabilities transformed the Kennedy Center last night into a living, breathing contemporary art space. VSA was long known as Very Special Arts, but since "special" and "handicapped" do not reflect current language trends in the United States or many other countries, they are now just known as VSA - The International Organization on Arts and Disability. These amazing artists are just that - amazing artists. Their creativity transcends and challenges any stereotypes regarding persons with disabilities!
