Leaving the sanctuary, I checked in at the downtown Marriott and walked 2 blocks to Tin City. I had been there the previous Tuesday, but spent too much time in the wine store (free tastings...) and didn't realize there were 2 other buildings to explore. While looking around, I discovered a boat tour, and since one was leaving in a half hour, I bought a ticket.
The 90 minute narrated tour traveled the Gordon River to the Gulf of Mexico. Along the way I learned the history of the area and saw some fabulous (3rd and 4th) homes of CEO's, the owner of the Four Winns boat company, the doctor who invented the first prosthetic knee, and also saw golfer Jack Nicklaus's yacht the Sea Bear.
