I left the New York City Public Library and walked west, heading toward the Walter Kerr Theatre on 218 West 48th Street where I met my friends for the Broadway show A Little Night Music. This 975 seat theatre was built in 1921 and was named for Walter Francis Kerr, an American writer and Broadway theater critic. A Little Night Music is a Stephen Sondheim musical and includes the popular song Send In The Clowns. This production starred Angela Lansbury and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
