That evening, we went to a dinner show at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa featuring the John Proulx Trio (John - piano, vocals, Luther Hughes - bass, Barry Zweig - guitar and Ron Stout - trumpet). John performed selections from his cd Baker's Dozen, which is a tribute to the late trumpeter Chet Baker.
