Tonight at Johnson County Community College the 16 piece Moonlight Serennade Orchestra re-created a USO Canteen show.
USO Canteen shows were so successful in improving morale, they became legendary for their role in winning the war. The Moonlight Serenade Orchestra commemorated this heritage by re-creating the sights and sounds of these great times. The orchestra played all the hits reminiscient of the great bands of the era.
