Saturday I went to Fort Myers to enjoy Taste of the World, a fundraiser benefitting ECHO, a local group here in southern Florida.
ECHO (Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization) is a group dedicated to fighting world hunger through innovative options, agricultural training, and networking with community leaders and missionaries in developing countries. It is a non-profit inter-denominational organization based in Fort Myers, Florida.
Eight tasting stations were set up in the Bell Tower Shops courtyard where succulent foods from regions of the world were offered. Restaurants participating included the Blue Pointe Oyster Bar, Cru, Courtyard Cafe, and Shoeless Joe's.
