My first musical jaunt of the season was to drive to historic downtown Fort Myers Thursday night to the Red Rock Restaurant to hear guitarist/vocalist Mario Infanti. I didn't get a chance to talk to him, because he went outside during sets.....
Supposedly Mario played with flugelhornist Chuck Mangione (probably the world's best) but I can't find any information about him on the Internet, so I'll have to wait until another Thursday to get his story. He was very good and played music by Wes Montgomery, Euge Groove and other jazz greats.
I see that next time I should remove the condiment collection on the table before taking a photo. Not very attractive.
