Tonight I went into Ft. Myers to see jazz guitarist Larry Coryell and his son Murali Coryell. But their opening act blew me away. This is 15 year old blues guitarist Mike Imbasicani. Influenced by Robert Johnson, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix (whose Red House Mike covered), Muddy Waters and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Mike has been playing guitar since age 5, and two years ago was introduced to blues and jazz. He said "the blues seem to be a part of me just waiting to get out every time I pick up my guitar."
