An aspiring author during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's decides to write a book detailing the African-American maids' point of view on the white families for which they work, and the hardships they go through on a daily basis. The ending song "Living Proof" sung by Mary J. Blige is magnificent.

Based on the Stieg Larson best selling trilogy, this first installment tells the story of journalist Mikael Blomkvist and his search for a woman who has been missing for forty years. He is aided by a young brilliant computer hacker. The Swedish version starring Noomi Rapace, released last year, was better in my opinion, although Daniel Craig did a fair job as Blomkvist.
