Peter Fletcher - Classical Guitarist

This afternoon, I went to the local library to see and hear classical guitarist Peter Fletcher. Peter began guitar study at the age of seven. In 1980, Peter was the youngest student to perform in a week long master class given by Andres' Segovia's teaching assistant. In 1995 Peter received his Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music.

Peter made his Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall) debut in February 2007, returned in 2008 and 2009, and in March 2010 played the venue to a sold out audience. Today's program included selections by John Dowland, J.S. Bach, Manuel M. Ponce, Edvard Grieg and Maurice Ravel.
