Trip to Michigan - 1st stop: Adrian

On Tuesday, April 17, I picked up my sister at Baltimore's airport (BWI) and immediately headed to Michigan by way of the 695 Beltway, I70, I76, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Ohio Turnpike, and M52 t0 my first stop at her home in Adrian, Michigan.

Adrian, located 30 miles northwest of Toledo, Ohio, was founded in 1826 by Addison McCormick. Originally named Logan, it was renamed Adrian after the Roman Emperor Hadrian.

Adrian has some beautiful buildings including the Lenawee County Courthouse, the Croswell Historic Opera House, Fire Engine House No. 1, and the Adrian Public Library.
