After The Addams Family, we walked a block to the Marriott Marquis to have a cocktail at The View. While heading to the escalator, a woman handed us free tickets to The Ride. I had just read a newspaper article about this new city attraction, billed as an entertainment experience that turns the streets of New York into a stage.
At 6:45 we headed downstairs and boarded the $1.4 million bus which moved through the city, turning famous NYC landmarks into backdrops as a live show played out right in front of us. Through advanced audio and video technology, incredible performances, local insider info and non-stop excitement, The Ride transformed the way we saw New York
(The above propaganda came from their flyer.....it was kitchy and a bit tacky and wouldn't be worth the $65 they are going to charge for it. Tourists, however, will probably love it.)
