Tuesday night I went to the Brooks Atkinson Theater to see the Broadway musical Rock of Ages, starring former American Idol contestant Constantine Maroulis. Now in its second year, Rock of Ages tells the story of a small town girl meeting a big city rocker on LA's Sunset Strip in 1987. The musical features the hits of Journey, Styx, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Poison, REO Speedwagon, Whitesnake and Asia. Tuesday night's performance was dedicated to the late Ronnie James Dio, the former lead singer of Black Sabbath.
On a side note, the Brooks Atkinson Theater played host to the long running game show What's My Line.
