This afternoon I met a new friend from DC (we met when she sat next to me at Baird Hall, National Museum of Natural History, DC while waiting for the TS Monk semi-finals on September 12) for lunch at the American Visionary Art Museum in downtown Baltimore. This is a fun and quirkly museum. The restaurant's name is Mr. Rain's Fun House. The menu choices were unique and the food was delicious. A kinetic sculpture just off the 3rd floor patio was entertaining to watch during lunch. I had been to the museum before but not the restaurant. I'm glad it was suggested by my new friend.
