Frank Lloyd Wright's Dana-Thomas House

Located on Lawrence Street in Springfield, the Dana-Thomas house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for socialite Susan Lawrence Dana. Built in 1902-1904, the home is one of Wright's first major Prairie-style houses and one of the most elaborate in terms of size, detailing, art glass, and furnishings. Particularly noteworthy are more than 100 pieces of original Wright-designed furniture and 450 examples of art glass doors, windows, panels, and lamps.

Unfortunately, the house is undergoing renovation and is closed until the fall of 2011.
