Drove to the Kennedy Center Friday afternoon to see the Christmas Time Is Here concert of Dianne Reeves with pianist Peter Martin, bassist Reginald Veal, drummer Terreon Gulley and guitarist Romero Lubambo. Ate at 600, a great restaurant in the Watergate Hotel. Left at 4:30PM. Here is a short video of the traffic, which I thought was brutal. If only it had looked like that at 11:30PM! It took 4 hours to get home. There were cars off the road, stopped in the center of the road, no visible lanes and no snow plows in sight. I won't complain about mega traffic again.
