I'm so glad I got to see the National Cathedral. When I was on a DC tour in 2003, we just drove by. This building is majestic and breathtaking. There is a 7th floor observatory that provides some spectacular views of the city and surrounding area, including the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia in the distance.
