The Regal Cinemas in Fort Myers presented Rascal Flatts Changed last night at the Belltower theater. The documentary chronicled the band's beginnings and the creative and recording process of their new (and 8th) cd Changed.
The band Rascal Flatts originated in Columbus, Ohio, and since its inception has been composed of three members: Gary LeVox (lead vocals), Jay DeMarcus (bass guitar, vocals, piano, keyboards, and talent), and Joe Don Rooney (vocals, lead guitar). Gary and Jay are second cousins.
Rascal Flatts studio albums have resulted in twenty-six single releases, all charting #20 or higher on the Billboard charts, with eleven number ones. The band's longest-lasting #1, a cover of Marcus Hummon's Bless The Broken Road, spent five weeks in that position.
